Participants will be introduced to sewing essentials, including sewing machine basics and hand stitching by our beloved Ms. Jenny Woods. Working with up-cycled materials, students will make creations and learn different skills like how to adorn with appliqués and make fun, handmade detailed work.

Food, Music & Stories of Latin America (rising 1st-rising 3rd grades) - June 23-27
Join us on this tour around the Americas! We will visit five countries - Mexico, Guatemala, Costa Rica, Peru, and Colombia - cooking and tasting dishes that are representative of their culinary heritage, listening, singing, and dancing to their folkloric music, creating art inspired by their most famous painters, and honoring their indigenous people by listening to their stories and legends. Food, Musica & Stories of Latin America is taught by Camellia's Spanish teacher, Maestra Lulu. This class is offered to rising first through third graders.
Volleyball (rising 4th-8th grades) - June 23-27
Learn to Bump, Set & Spike with Coach Jarrod! Students will learn how to play volleyball in a fun, safe and inclusive environment. Students more familiar with the game will get opportunities to deepen their skill set and scrimmage.
Sew Fun! (rising 4th - 8th grade) - June 30-July 3 (closed July 4th)

Handwork (rising 1st-3rd grades) June 30-July 3 (closed July 4th)
Ms. Iman, second and third grade Handwork teacher, will lead the students on a fibers arts journey. All skills welcome.

Advanced Woodworking for current CWS students (rising 4th-8th grade) - July 7-11
Open to Camellia Waldorf School students only, rising 4th through 8th grades, get to spend a week Woodworking with Mr. Bones. He will lead students through woodworking projects and techniques such as sanding, rasping and whittling and gouging. To ensure a high-quality experience, we are limiting this class to only 15 students so don't wait to register!
Open to all Woodworking (rising 1st-4th) - July 14-18
Rising 1st through 4th grade students will enjoy a week Woodworking with Mr. Bones. He will lead students through introductory woodworking projects and techniques such as sanding, rasping, and applying oil. Visual Poetry: Where the art of language meets the technique of collage making (rising 4th-8th)
Iman Hassan, 7th and 8th grade assistant, will lead students on an exploration of language through fun games and they will learn different poetic forms like haiku and odes while creating visual art like collage and illustrations.
Open to all Woodworking (rising 1st-6th) - July 21-25
